Accessibility statement

Last updated

Digital Ohana, Inc. wants everyone to be able to use thedigitalohana.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are the widely used guidelines for making websites usable by people with disabilities.

What we do

  • Write clear headings and page structure that screen readers can follow
  • Give images text descriptions
  • Keep text and background colors at readable contrast
  • Make every link, button and form field usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline
  • Label form fields and explain errors in plain words
  • Respect your device's "reduce motion" setting
  • Test pages with automated accessibility checks and by hand before they go live

Known limitations

Some pages show screenshots of client websites as examples of our work. These have text descriptions, but the screenshots themselves can't be read by screen readers. If you'd like details about any project, just ask.

Tell us about a problem

If something on the site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please let us know. Email info@thedigitalohana.com or call 702-727-6766, and tell us the page and what went wrong. We reply within one business day and aim to fix problems or provide what you need within 10 business days.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is ongoing. We review the site when we add new pages and features, and we update this statement as things change.
